Hi! My name is Dilith. I’m a graduate student following the MCS program at Dalhousie University, Canada, supervised by Prof. Janarthanan Rajendran. My current research is on Meta-Reinforcement Learning where I explore how agents can optimally utilize periods between episodes or trials to practice.

I graduated from the University of Moratuwa where I completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, specializing in Computer Science and Engineering. After my undergrad degree, I worked as a contract lecturer at the University of Moratuwa before I joined Dal for my Masters.

As it may have already been clear by the content on this website, my main interests are in the area of Reinforcement Learning. I also find other areas of AI like Computer Vision and Robotics to be quite fascinating.

I’d rather not bore anyone with more details about me. Head over to my LinkedIn page if you want to see a bit more about my background, or feel free to look around and see if you find anything interesting.
